As your AppStream 2.0 deployment grows, management of fleets, stacks and images can become a burden on administrators. Multiple personas, applications and images can be tough to manage and scale effectively. To help with this, there are 2 features that may be useful in cutting down on the administrative overhead as well as improve overall user experience; Application Entitlements and Multi-Stack Application Catalog.
Application entitlements allow administrators to filter the application catalog based on SAML 2.0 assertions from a third-party identity provider. I recently published a video on configuring application entitlements for AppStream.
As an additional enhancement I published another video on Multi-Stack Application Catalog which allows users to access multiple AppStream 2.0 stacks from a single relay-state endpoint.
With these 2 enhancements enabled, administrators can reduce the overall number of images and fleets needed to manage an AppStream 2.0 deployment and simplify the process for end users to access their applications.
