Choosing how to run your containers on AWS

During AWS re:Invent 2024, Julia Furst Morgado and I delivered the talk "DEV307 - Demystifying containers on AWS". Trying to cover all the ways you can run containers, combined with the different needs for each use-case, is impossible to complete in just 50 minutes. We'll embed the talk video below when it becomes available.
To help you decide how you want to run containers, we'll update this post with different scenarios, and personal opinions of when you may want to choose one option over another. The source code will be provided in GitHub for you to play around - we'll include both Terraform and CDK code for you to spin up the different options to take a look at what is involved.
