Meeting Tech Celebrities at re:Invent 2024
Published Jan 4, 2025
Every year, AWS re:Invent brings together some of the brightest minds and passionate tech enthusiasts from around the world. One of the highlights of re:Invent 2024 was meeting the tech celebrities and bloggers I’ve admired for some time now.
I have always admired people who contribute to the community. At re:Invent, I had the chance to chat with them, connect on a personal level, and appreciate the human side of these digital icons. It’s one thing to read their blogs, watch their videos, or listen to their podcasts. It’s another to shake their hand, share a laugh, and hear their stories firsthand.
Each of these creators brings something unique to the table. Some excel at simplifying complex topics, making cloud computing and DevOps accessible to beginners. Others dive deep into cutting-edge technology, exploring the nuances of serverless architectures, etc. And then there are those who mix tech with storytelling, weaving personal anecdotes into their content that resonate deeply with audiences like me. They educate, inspire, and empower people across the globe to transform their careers and lives.
A huge shoutout to some of the incredible people I met:
Jeff Barr, Viktor Vedmich, Rustem Feyzkhanov, Denis Astahov, Viktoria Semaan, Trevor Spires, Linda Haviv, Darya Petrashka, Lucy Wang and many more!
To all the tech bloggers and influencers I met, thank you for your hard work and passion. Your content has been a guiding light for countless people, including myself, and meeting you in person was truly unforgettable.Re:Invent is more than just a tech conference; it’s a celebration of community. Meeting these tech celebrities reminded me that behind every piece of content is a real person—someone who is passionate about technology. It’s a humbling and inspiring experience, one that has left me even more motivated to dive deeper into the tech world and share what I learn along the way.
See you next year at re:Invent!
P.S. I don’t know whom to ask but 😊 Jason Dunn, do we have already or maybe next year we could have a special video booth with good sound proof and lighting for casual re:Invent interviews? Just an idea.
