I’ve heard so much about the incredible energy and opportunities at this event, and I’m thrilled to experience it firsthand. Here's what makes re:Invent so special:

Sammy Cheung is an awesome guy passionate about helping the community just like what Yujun Liang, Walter Lee and Yongkang HE (aka kubestronaut he) did. On day 0, he showed me around and gave me great tips on how to navigate since he went the conference for 7 times.
EXPO is the solution showcase areas with so many of vendors. I did not have time to visit all of them. Anyway, I went to my favourite Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) booth.
The first booths I visited is Palo Alto Networks followed by Informatica.
The best part? Meeting the AWS Gold Jacket program creator Geries AbouAyash and ~60 incredible gold jackets for the first time at re:Invent, including Sammy Cheung, Bangaly KABA, PhD, Mai Nishitani, Scott Friend and many others. It was amazing to connect with such a vibrant and talented group of individuals who embody the AWS community spirit!

Excited to learn, network, and innovate with everyone. Let’s make it an unforgettable experience! Thanks Hubert H. Chan for some of the photos and video!
My favorite place is the AWS Community Hub, where you can meet the amazing AWS Heroes, AWS User Group Leaders, and Community Builders from everywhere. Thanks to Jason Dunn, Shafraz Rahim, Mouna Neelakanta, Yoshi Yamaguchi and the whole program team for the arrangement! I truly enjoyed being part of the program and look forward to contributing more in the coming years. Not to mention, I met the legendary Jeff Barr there too.
