Amazon Q and Rider

Hi, I'm Ayo, and I want to share the how Amazon Q changed my game development journey.

When I first started using Amazson Q, I was not sure what to expect. I had tried a few before like copilot, but nothing worked as well as Amazon Q.The way it worked with Rider made my workflow so much easier. For a game developer like me, it felt like a blessing.

I worked on Ija Orisha, and it was our submission for the hackathon. The game had many animations and needed to sync socket responses with in-game actions. Doing all this manually would have been very hard. But Amazon Q made it easy. I could just write a comment about what I needed, and in a few moments, Amazon Q created the function for me. It felt like magic.

The chat feature was also very helpful. Amazon Q did not just create code without context. It understood how my files worked together and what I was trying to do. This saved me a lot of time and effort.

The best thing is that you do not need to be an expert at writing prompts. Even a simple explanation of what you want is enough for Amazon Q to help. I honestly cannot imagine building games without it now. Using Amazon Q is like using a strong machine to dig a hole instead of doing it with your hands.
