Matrix: Puzzle game for the Curious
A headache-fuel game for the developers.

I’ve always had an idea for creating something that would combine my technical skills with the creation of an enjoyable, difficult experience. This is how Matrix, a browser based puzzle game, was created. It’s not just a game its a gateway to the interesting world of problem solving and computer science concepts.
The idea behind Matrix was simple yet ambitious: design a game that makes players think critically, solve puzzles, and engage with real-world tech skills. Inspired by internet mysteries like Cicada 3301, Matrix spans five challenging levels, each exploring a unique puzzle type.
- Real-World Problem Solving: The puzzles in Matrix aren't abstract—they encourage players to apply computer science concepts they might encounter in real life.
- A Journey Guided by The Nexus: The game includes a guide, The Nexus, who provides cryptic hints, helping players navigate through the challenges.
Building Matrix wasn’t just about coding; it was about blending storytelling with technology. The game was built using React for its interactive, responsive interface. Each puzzle was tested rigorously to ensure it struck the right balance between difficulty and fun.
The experience of developing Matrix was as enriching as playing the game itself. From brainstorming puzzle ideas to watching players tackle challenges, every step of the journey has been a lesson in creativity and perseverance.
