Hello, I am Sharan, Assistant Professor of School of CS & AI at SR University, Telangana, India.
Over the past academic year (Sept 2023 – May 2024), I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Faculty Coordinator for the SR University Cloud Computing & DevOps Student Club.
The club's vision is simple to bridge the academia to IT industry so that students are equipped with ongoing trends in Cloud Tech.
What We Accomplished Together
Organized multiple webinars, workshops, and hands-on labs to introduce students to real-world cloud computing.

As part of my role as Faculty Coordinator of the SRU Cloud & DevOps Student Club, I conducted multiple webinars for student introduction to 1st & 2nd year B. Tech CSE students to Cloud and how to start participating in cloud communities by listening to these Cloud minds.
From Classrooms to Cloud: Your Path to a Future-Ready Profile 📅 Date: 6th October 2024 🎯 Focus: Guiding students on leveraging cloud learning to build future-ready tech profiles 🧑🎓 Audience: B. Tech students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd years - Primarily focused on 1st and 2nd years. 🗣️ Outcome: Encouraged students to explore certifications, cloud career paths, and community engagement
AWS Cloud Clubs Program: How to Join and Benefit 📅 Date: 18th January 2025 🎯 Focus: Introduction to the AWS Cloud Clubs initiative and its benefits for students 💡 Key Topics: Cloud skills, AWS platform access, community learning 📈 Impact: Sparked interest in AWS Academy and student-led project initiatives
How to Become an AWS Cloud Club Captain 📅 Date: 2nd February 2025 🎯 Focus: Steps to become a student leader in the AWS Cloud Club program 🌱 Goal: Nurturing student leadership, mentorship, and cloud advocacy 👥 Engagement: Motivated several students to apply for leadership roles
AWS Cloud Computing Workshop 📅 Date: 27th March 2025 🎯 Focus: Hands-on whole day sessions on AWS Foundational Services 🌱 Goal: Students should able to do foundational AWS EC2, S3, VPC, RDS etc. Tasks effectively, 👥 Engagement: Students had done all the given lab activities successfully.
