Achieving the AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification in just two weeks was a rewarding challenge and a great learning experience. In this article, I’m sharing my journey to help others who are planning to take the same path.
The AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification focuses on the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), along with the AI/ML services offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). It’s ideal for professionals looking to validate their foundational knowledge in AI and how it applies within AWS environments.
Before starting my preparation, I carefully reviewed the official AWS exam guide, which outlines the key topics and skills measured in the exam. This helped me create a clear and focused study plan.
I structured my preparation into three main phases:
I started with the official AWS course on Skills Builder, which provides a solid introduction to AI/ML concepts and their implementation using AWS services. After completing the course, I turned to practice exams to test my knowledge. I used the official AWS practice exam to get a feel for the question format and difficulty.
In addition, Free ExamPro’s question bank was extremely useful. It includes practical, scenario-based questions that reflect the real exam experience and helped me identify areas to improve.
I dedicated time daily over two weeks, balancing between study materials, video lessons, and practice exams. My previous experience with AWS services definitely helped speed up the process, but I believe even those new to AWS can manage a similar timeline with consistent effort.
Overall, I found the certification preparation manageable and well worth the time. The exam is balanced—not too easy, not too hard—and a great way to prove your understanding of AI fundamentals within AWS.
