From Just Attending to Speaking, Podcasting & Partying: My AWS Summit Bengaluru 2025 Story
A behind-the-scenes look at my AWS Summit Bengaluru 2025 journey—full of tech, talks, a surprise podcast, and unforgettable community moments.
Published May 11, 2025
Let me start by saying this — I’ve always loved attending tech events, but this year’s AWS Summit Bengaluru 2025?
It hit different.
Yes, I was going to attend it anyway — because let’s be real, it’s AWS Summit! It has everything — new tech, cool sessions, GenAI buzz, networking, swags (of course), and an insane crowd of passionate builders.
But this time, I wasn’t just attending.
I was speaking.
I was podcasting.
And I was finally meeting my community friends after what felt like forever.
So here’s the full download on everything — from pre-summit chills to summit thrills (and a tiny detour into feeling sick but pushing through 💪).
If you know me, you know I’m all about people and conversations. So when I walked into BLR Brewing Co. for the Pre-Summit Community Dinner, I could already tell — “Yup, this night’s gonna be one for the books.”
And oh boy, it was.
I ended up chatting with almost everyone. Like literally. I talked so much I forgot to sit down — no joke, my legs were sore when I got back to the hotel. 😅 But my heart? Full.
We spoke about tech, life, the future, our wins, our chaos — everything.
And honestly, it reminded me why I love this community so much.
“We didn’t need an agenda. The agenda was connection.”
Huge shoutout to Ridhima for putting this whole thing together. The icebreaker games were so much fun — I didn’t know I’d enjoy yelling out random facts about myself to a crowd of developers, but hey, turns out I do!
The vibe? 🔥
The food? Delicious.
The people? Even better.
Here’s to old friends like Avinash, Zameer, Vivek, Bhuvana, Jones, AJ, Adit, Srushith, Ashwin, Priyal, Dipali, Abhilasha, Dimple, Poonam, Ameya, Toshal, Dhaval, and to the amazing new folks I met like Abinaya, Chandra, Aadithya, Sebastian, Tiffany, Rajat, Anupam, Ansh, Arun, Keerthi, Anand, Shefali.

Day 1 kicked off with a banger of a keynote by Sandeep Dutta, President of AWS India and South Asia. The energy in the hall? Electric. You could feel the hunger to learn and build.
The Developer Lounge was buzzing. Here’s what I saw (and did):
- Took on the Amazon Q Challenge
- Spun the wheel for swags
- Checked out the AWS Jam area
- Hung out at the Training & Certification booth

Post-lunch, I tagged along with Shubham, and together we tried to explore every nook and corner of the summit:
- GenAI Hub — got a cool customized GenAI photo
- Builders Zone — because what’s a summit without some hands-on stuff?
- Startup & Partner Booths — amazing ideas and products
- Game Days — yes, it was as fun as it sounds
- Experience Street — one word: immersive

And yes — I got to shoot a fun video with Vivek for the AWS social media team, sharing our summit experience. “The best moments aren’t just about tech. They’re about the joy of sharing it.”
Let me be honest — I was SUPER excited for Day 2.
I had two big things lined up:
- A Dev Talk on “Vibe Coding with Amazon Q CLI”
- A Podcast recording with the AWS Developers team
But… plot twist.
The evening I went back from Summit I was feeling terrible. Dehydration, exhaustion — not sure what it was. I was down for most of the evening and the other morning.
Thank goodness for my friends and the wonderful hotel staff who helped me out. Because by noon, I was back on my feet — weak, but determined.
“You don’t cancel rare opportunities. You show up — even if it’s just 70% of you.”
I reached just in time to kick off the Developer Talks.
My session? “Vibe Coding with Amazon Q CLI” — and trust me, it was packed! A full house. I could barely see the back row.
While I wish I had more time to dive deeper, I managed to pull off a live demo and share some practical takeaways. And the best part? People enjoyed it. Some even stayed back to ask questions and chat.

Right after the session, I recorded a podcast with Sebastian and Tiffany from the AWS Developers team. First time ever. I was nervous, sure — but these two made it feel like a casual conversation over coffee.
We spoke about Amazon Q CLI, how developers can get started, and what excites us about the future.
It was relaxed, insightful, and surprisingly fun.
“Sometimes, the best stories come out when you stop scripting and start speaking from the heart.”

You know what really makes a tech event unforgettable?
It’s not the sessions or the swag (though they’re great).
It’s those random corridor conversations. The “hi” that turns into “where do you work?” that turns into “we should totally collaborate!”
My icebreaker of choice? A simple smile.
That’s it. No fancy line. Just a smile. And it works.
“A smile doesn’t need an API. But it’s the best way to start a connection.”

Here’s the group photo — a moment frozen in time.
It’s just a picture, but for me, it holds so much more.
Memories, laughter, stories, shared goals, and a whole lot of love for tech and community.
“The community that learns together, builds together, and grows together — wins together.”
Until Next Time…
To everyone who made AWS Summit Bengaluru 2025 so special — thank you.
To the AWS team, the community leads, the attendees, the new friends, the old friends — thank you for being part of this crazy, amazing, whirlwind ride.

Let’s keep building, keep sharing, and keep smiling.
Because the best tech is built on human connection.
See you at the next one. And hey, if you ever see me at a summit — come say hi. I’ll be the one smiling. 🙂
