Our project, Wound Care Guide, is a web app that uses generative AI to provide personalized and accessible advice for people with different types of wounds. We believe that our project can positively affect our target community, which is anyone who suffers from a wound and needs guidance on how to treat it properly.
Some of the potential benefits of our project are:
- It can reduce the risk of infection and complications by providing accurate and timely information on wound care.
- It can improve the quality of life and well-being of people with wounds by helping them manage their pain, healing, and recovery.

Our envisioned real-world application is to make our web app available online for anyone to use, as well as to integrate it with existing health platforms and services. We also plan to collaborate with health professionals and organizations to validate and improve our app, as well as to reach out to potential users and beneficiaries. Our goal is to make wound care more accessible, convenient, and effective for everyone.
