The idea for GiftGenie was born out of the desire to simplify the gift-giving process and make it more personalized and thoughtful.
GiftGenie is an app that provides personalized gift recommendations based on the recipient and occasion, taking the stress out of finding the perfect gift.
We built GiftGenie using a combination of Partyrock application from AWS with a tailored user input data, and a carefully curated prompt engineering to ensure accurate and tailored suggestions.
One of the main challenges we faced was fine-tuning the algorithm to accurately predict gift preferences based on various factors like age, interests, and relationship to the recipient, etc.
We are proud of creating a user-friendly interface that simplifies the gift selection process and provides meaningful recommendations that resonate with users.
Through developing GiftGenie, we learned the importance of data accuracy, user feedback incorporation, and continuous algorithm refinement to enhance user experience.
In the future, we plan to expand GiftGenie's capabilities by incorporating more advanced AI technologies, expanding our gift database, and partnering with retailers to offer seamless purchasing options within the app.
