What is your opinion of mechanical keyboards and why?

Until about six months ago, I didn't fully understand the allure of a mechanical keyboard. That clickety-clackety sound can be so loud. So I set out to do some experimenting.

In my research, I learned that PEOPLE HAVE OPINIONS about mechanical keyboards. Some people love them, some people hate them. And since they are so customizable, people have opinions about which parts to use. After trying a couple of keyboards that I didn't work for me, I landed on a Keychron Q1 Pro Wireless 75% Keyboard with red switches and I love it. Each keypress gives a little feedback and it turns out, that sound is so satisfying.
