Celestial Wars - the game (warning: it will bring back your arcade memories)

Celestial wars is an arcade themed, asteroid shooter game. Where you try to destroy as many asteroids as possible without being hit by them, but be aware the speed at which the asteroids move will increase dramatically as you go through the game. You have 3 lives and if you are hit by an asteroid you lose a life you can rack up scores until you have a life.

For Movement, Use WASD or Arrow Keys to navigate ; don't collide or you lose lives.

An absolute life saver, with its gen AI capabilities, when handed to the right person can create a lot of things which would normally take months, could be created in a few hours.

We used this to write, modify and remove a lot of code. Making our life simpler. From changing the size of the text to writing original code from our ideas.

Used this resource to host our game on the web. It deployed the game within minutes.

Shoot & Charge: Use spacebar to fire. Hold it when using Charged Beam (Weapon 5).

Weapons (1-5), Numbers 1-5 represent multiple types of weapons which can be used for vaious scenarios. Use them by pressing the number on your keyboard

1: Laser- a simple laser suitable for long range, with its precise targetting can destroy asteroids far away.

2: Spread Shot - releases three laser beams in 3 directions, also suitable for long range but not as accurate

3: Seeker Missile- relaeses a missile which follows the nearest asteroid, has a success rate of about 50%.

4: Shockwave - Extremely close range but very powerful. Destroys asteroids into atoms.

5: Charged Beam Destroy asteroids for score - Really strong, charge this weapon up using the space bar and pulverize the asteroid into bits

Navigate your spaceship using "WASD" or arrow keys, avoid asteroids or you will lose a life. Destroy as many asteroid as you can to beat highscores. Select an ideal weapon to target different asteroids, for example, Spread shot for close range and the laser for precise accuracy.

Here you can find all the highscores from those who have dared to attempt before you. Maybe your name will be on the leaderboard of fame if you are brave enough.
